M.I.D.A.S. - Music Institutions with Doctoral Art Studies
www.webmidas.info

In 2004, Orpheus Institute took the initiative to establish a European network for institutes organising doctoral programmes in the arts, similar to docARTES. This resulted in the organisation of M.I.D.A.S. - Music Institutions with Doctoral Arts Studies. The M.I.D.A.S. members gather twice a year. Through exchange of information and experience about this new form of third cycle education in the arts, M.I.D.A.S. will build a valuable database. For the first time in Europe, M.I.D.A.S. organised in 2005 a (yearly) student conference through which doctoral students are offered an international forum.
